Language is capital when you know what to do with it.
I’m Alina. For more than five years, I’ve helped people turn their language skills into capital that works for their own goals.
I speak six languages. Some people call that being a polyglot. I call myself a language capitalist because I’m interested in what those languages make possible: access to people, markets, ideas, work, and a wider range of choices.
A language certificate can be valuable, but it is only one part of the picture. The questions I ask are more personal and more practical: What can you already do? Where do you want to go? Which conversations, relationships, and opportunities could a language help you enter?

From language knowledge to language capital.
My developing approach draws on Gabrielle Hogan-Brun’s Linguonomics and Pierre Bourdieu’s work on capital. These ideas help me look beyond language proficiency alone and ask how language gains value in a particular social and economic setting.
I’m developing and applying that thinking to help people recognize their potential and pursue opportunities in today’s economy. The strategy session is one place where we make that idea concrete for your circumstances.
